What we collect
When you create an agent account or submit a listing, we collect your name, email address, phone number, real estate licence number, and agency details. When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email, and phone number. We also collect anonymous usage data (page views, search terms) to improve the platform.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the Henri.O platform — including displaying agent profiles, routing buyer inquiries to agents, verifying real estate licences against state regulatory registers, and sending transactional emails (inquiry notifications, listing confirmations). We do not sell your data to third parties.
Who we share data with
When a buyer submits an inquiry, their contact details are shared with the listing agent or private seller. Agent contact details (name, agency, phone, email) are displayed publicly on their profile page. We use trusted third-party services (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that are bound by data processing agreements.
Data storage & security
Henri.O is hosted in Australia. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Listing data is retained for record-keeping purposes for 7 years after a property is sold or a listing is withdrawn, as required by Australian consumer law.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email privacy@henrio.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your search preferences. We use analytics cookies (anonymised) to understand how the platform is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Henri.O after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
