About Henri.O
We exist because the status quo isn't fair.
A listing that cost $75 in 2009 costs $5,000 today. That's not innovation — that's a monopoly extracting value from agents and sellers who have no alternative. Henri.O is the alternative.
How we got here
The going rate for a standard listing
First major price surge post-monopoly
COVID-era pricing power
ACCC launches formal investigation
Flat. Every suburb. No surcharge.
The regulatory moment
In May 2025, the ACCC issued REA Group a compulsory Section 155 notice after the Real Estate Institute of NSW brought formal complaints about postcode-based price gouging. Former ACCC chair Allan Fels called the price rises “extraordinary.” Federal MPs are now involved. This window won't last forever — Henri.O is moving now.
What we stand for
Transparency above all
We publish our pricing publicly. We tell you exactly what Henri.O earns. We don't hide fees behind "vendor-paid advertising" language.
Independent agents matter
Big agency groups get volume discounts from REA. We built Henri.O to give independent boutique agents the same tools at a fair price.
Data is a right, not a product
Suburb intelligence should be free. Buyers and sellers shouldn't have to pay PropTrack or CoreLogic for data that's derived from public records.
Perth first, then Australia
We're starting where we know — Perth, WA. Proving the model locally before scaling nationally via our online platform.
